This is part of a “New Manneri” series I am working on. This picture shows a clay sculpted head that is still wet. Once dry, it will be fired multiple times, with glazes & underglazes. The finished piece will probably incorporate mixed media elements. It is slightly larger than life-sized. Again, a step in my journey, exploring human imperfection. I am striving for something beautiful, yet verging on grotesque at the same time.
