When my beloved 18 year old Himalayan, DD was sick, & at the end of his life, I was faced with ‘the decision’. The one I said I would never make. He taught me that there really are limits. I decided I needed to design a piece of work that would help me through the grieving process. The only preconceived idea I had, going into this was that they should be childlike to reflect my feelings toward him. Almost without thinking, the DD Dolls were born.
